HydroTec Marine opened it's doors in 1989, when founder Wayne Worthy saw an untouched market in Yamaha outboard high performance products. As a former technician and service rep for Yamaha, Wayne branched out on his own to start a business offering high performance products specifically for Yamaha outboards. Since then, we have been an industry leader, not only high performance, but also as a powerhead remanufacturer. We began rebuilding Yamaha's of all sizes in the 90's and have never looked back!
After 35 years and thousands of powerhead rebuilds later, our goal is the same: to provide our customers an excellent product and an excellent experience throughout the entire rebuild process.
